The only food court in Trinidad and Tobago made from shipping containers has officially opened its doors in Mc Bean, Couva.

It’s called The Port and it offers a wide array of food options, from pasta and sub sandwiches to brick oven pizzas and desserts, just to name a few.

This new venture is the brainchild of Cherise Joseph-Samuell who is also the owner of Brise Café which is located at The Port.

She says the idea for a container food court came during COVID lockdowns.

The Port is located along the main road in Mc Bean, a few buildings down from 6 + 1 Supermarket and Mrs Joseph-Samuell says there is ample signage.

Some of the establishments at The Port are open from Sunday to Sunday and some take the Sunday off, while opening hours are generally from 7am to 11pm.
