T&TEC voluntarily shut down its Marabella Service Centre today, after being advised that a suspected Covid-19 case had visited there recently.
It says while medical personnel did not instruct it to close, this was done out of an abundance of caution.
It says the necessary sanitization was done prior to reopening tomorrow, July 29th.
T&TEC says it will continue to adhere to the protocols as outlined by the Ministry of Health to limit the spread of the virus among staff and between members of the public.
This includes the installation of physical barriers, hand wash sinks and sanitizing liquid dispensers; the use of infrared thermometers to screen all persons entering buildings and the distribution of masks and related PPE to all staff for use on the job.
