After battering Trinidad and Tobago, Tropical Storm Karen is forecast to affect U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, including Vieques and Culebra, and the British Virgin Islands.
Tropical Storm warnings are in place there as the storm, now disorganized, moves north-northwest.
The National Hurricane Centre says on the forecast track, the center of
Karen will move across the eastern Caribbean Sea today before passing near or over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands on Tuesday morning.
The storm is expected to move over the western Atlantic to the north of Puerto Rico on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
It says little overall change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.
