Grenada has deported four females, including a Trinidadian, who were performing in an illegal strip club that was operating in a fishing community in the southeastern part the island.
Now Grenada reported that acting Police Commissioner Edvin Martin says a raid was conducted at the facility, with one person also being arrested for drugs, and another for an imitation firearm.
Of those deported, three were from the Dominican Republic and one from Trinidad.
The acting Top Cop explained that the two of the four had overstayed the time assigned to them by the immigration officer upon entrance, while two were deported using sections of the immigration law.
According to the report, police said there is no indication that the deported women were victims of human trafficking.
