Tributes have poured in from senators in the first sitting since the death of their colleague Franklin Khan.
Khan, who was holding the post of Energy Minister at the time of his passing on Saturday, previously served as Leader of Government Business in the Senate.
His PNM colleague Paula Gopee-Scoon was the first to pay tribute.
Opposition Senator Wade Mark then gave his thoughts following years of interaction with Khan.
Independent Senator Paul Richards spoke to what he called Khan’s “fixed smile.”
