Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon is leading a delegation from the private sector on a Trade Mission to Grenada.

This Mission runs from January 31st to February 3rd and was organized by the T&T Manufacturers’ Association and ExporTT.

It consists of 26 companies from the transportation and logistics, marketing, health services and manufacturing sectors.

Over 40 persons from the private sector form the delegation, along with the Minister and Permanent Secretary Randall Karim.

The Ministry says the Mission is geared towards determining business opportunities within the Grenadian market for T&T companies, as well as establishing and deepening strategic business and logistical relationships between manufactures and buyers.

It is also a key project under the Export Booster Initiative, which is geared towards increasing the value of all non-energy exports over the next three years.

Mrs Gopee-Scoon will also engage in bilateral discussions with her Ministerial counterparts in Grenada and other key business officials.
