Top Cop meets with Barkeepers and Operators Association

Concerns about perceived inconsistencies in the enforcement of Covid-19 regulations were discussed as Police Commissioner Gary Griffith met today with representatives of the Barkeepers and Operators Association.

BOATT President Satesh Moonesar and Director Anil Maraj highlighted the issue and said they were willing to work with the TTPS to resolve it.

Commissioner Griffith agreed to facilitate discussions between the Association and Divisional Heads to address the various issues facing the group’s members.

The Top Cop meanwhile raised the issues of noise pollution and indiscriminate parking and urged that barkeepers to ensure these problems do not adversely affect the communities in which they operate.

He also promised to keep the lines of communication open among himself, the TTPS, and the BOATT.
