The Police Commissioner has accused the Defence Force of failing to assist the investigation into a “visit by government officials” at Camp Cumuto several years ago.
Although the officials were not named, the matter is believed to be a visit by the Attorney General and his children, who were then allegedly photographed using high powered weapons.
Speaking during the weekly TTPS briefing today, Mr Griffith said the matter would be close “in the next week or two”.
He also claimed that several attempts to get information from the army were not acknowledged.
This matter dates back to 2015.
Mr Griffith says he intends to “close all gates” by wrapping up all outstanding inquiries.
