Tobago officials report “steady” rise in paediatric COVID cases

Officials in Tobago are reporting a steady increase in COVID-19 cases in the paediatric population.

This has been confirmed by Tobago County Medical Officer of Health, Dr Tiffany Hoyte, who spoke at a media briefing today.

She said the numbers increased sharply in April after just one case was recorded in February and March respectively.

Tobago currently has a total of 435 cases on the island.
