Tobago House of Assembly: Persons building on land for airport project relocation without approval

Land has been developed for persons relocated due to the upgrade of the ANR Robinson airport but the Tobago House of Assembly says some residents have started building without approval.

The sixty parcels of land along Shirvan Road include six parcels for services like school, green spaces, commercial activity and a utility area.

The THA says the persons who started construction of homes without approval must first settle with the state for their existing properties at Crown Point.

The Assembly says it is committed to a smooth transition process for relocated citizens but is duty bound to ensure that legal requirements are followed.
