Tobago farmer in court for cousin’s murder


    A 54-year-old Tobago farmer is expected to appear before a Scarborough Magistrate today charged with the murder of his cousin.

    The accused claimed that on September 24th, he was walking to the garden at the back of his home, when he was approached by a male relative armed with a cutlass and a hoe, who told him to not go into his garden.

    An altercation ensued, during which time the relative, Matthew Kenrick-James, was chopped.

    He died at the scene.
