Three denied bail for ‘shooting at officers’


    Three men have been denied bail by a court for shooting with intent at police officers.

    The trio was arrested yesterday following a police-involved shooting in Arima on February 13th, where a fourth suspect was killed by officers.

    The remaining suspects were also charged with possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life and possession of ammunition to endanger life.

    They are 22 year old Kyle Barker and 22 year old Miguel Wallen both of Arima and 26 year old Michael McClean of Morvant.

    They are to re-appear in court on Thursday 19th March 2020.
