THA’s Division of Health addressing pay delay for 53 workers

The THA’s Division of Health says it is working to address a delay in the payment of wages to 53 daily-paid workers.

The issue relates to pay for the fortnight period April 15th – 28th.

According to the Division, the wages were processed and released to the banking institution via the Automated Clearing House system, which is the electronic system used to pay workers.

It adds however that a recent check revealed that the payment of wages for the specific period was rejected from one banking institution ONLY.

The Division says it is now working with this financial institution to resolve the matter.

It also insists that daily-paid workers with other banks have begun receiving their wages for the same fortnightly period.
