Officials are warning against the unauthorized use of the Buccoo Reef Marine Park for the hosting of parties.
According to the THA’s Division of Environment, the park is a restricted marine area and is also governed by a user policy approved by the Executive Council in May 2016.
That policy limits tours to between 10am and 5:30pm and prohibits parties, alcohol consumption and fishing in the park.
Persons are also advised that tickets for the park are available only through authorized reef operators associations at booth #15 in Store Bay or the Blue Booth inside Pigeon Point Heritage Park.
