THA – Tobago ready to deal with COVID-19

All protocols are in place in Tobago to treat with any suspected case of COVID-19.

The assurance comes from THA Secretary of Health Tracy Davidson-Celestine, who says facilities are available to quarantine patients.

Mrs. Davidson-Celestine says a quarantine facility is available for T&T nationals flying into Tobago from countries with COVID-19.

One such flight came in last night with nationals who are now being isolated at the facility.

She adds that a coronavirus hotline is to be established in Tobago by the end of the week for persons exhibiting flu like symptoms to seek advice from senior doctors.

A committee is also being established to examine the impact of COVID-19 on the Tobago economy.
