Taxi drivers plying the San Fernando to Chaguanas and the San Fernando to Port of Spain routes are claiming victimization after their taxi stands were moved from High Street.

103FM News spoke with Chaguanas to San Fernando Taxi Drivers’ Association President, Adrian Acosta, who says the stands are now located at King’s Wharf on a two week trial.

However, he alleges that there was a lack of proper consultation.

Mr Acosta warns that his association is considering legal action over the relocation.

Attempts to reach San Fernando Mayor Junia Regrello and Deputy Mayor Vidya Mungal-Bissessar have so far proven futile.
