From September 1st, Caribbean Airlines passengers can purchase tamarind balls, fudge, preserved mango and other local products via its new in-flight snack and beverage catalogue.
Products from T&T, Jamaica and Guyana will be sold including sweet and savoury snacks as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Caribbean Cafe, as it is called, is available to customers travelling on intra-Caribbean and International flights on the Boeing 737 fleet.
Caribbean Airlines has launched a number of new products, features and services for 2018 focused on improving customer service and convenience. “Caribbean Café” is the latest in-flight service since the launch of “Caribbean View” – wireless in-flight entertainment in August.
Chief Executive Officer, Garvin Medera states: “Caribbean Airlines is rapidly innovating in services and technology to improve the customer experience. Customers can now purchase any of our local snacks and beverages from the “Caribbean Café” catalogue mid-flight, with the use of cash and credit cards. Credit card purchases on board also extend to the purchase of seat upgrades to “Caribbean Plus” our economy extra
legroom seating. “Caribbean Cafe” also offers speciality comfort products for purchase such as power banks, blankets and plush toys.”
