Tabaquite MP Anita Haynes wants the Works Minister to take action before disaster strikes along the Bonne Aventure Main Road.
A section of the roadway has collapsed and Ms Haynes says she has raised the issue multiple times over the past year, both in the media and with the Minister.
She claims the Ministry made a commitment for repair works at the site and in other areas at the start of the 2023 Dry Season.
However with the season now halfway through, she says these are yet to begin.
In addition to Bonne Aventure Main Road, the MP says there are dozens of landslips in need of restoration, dilapidated wooden bridges and communities with very limited vehicle access including Corosal and Gran Couva.
