An alleged chopping and robbery at a Gasparillo home has seen a 45-year-old man land in the hands of the law.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday 14th December 2020 when the victim was approached by two men while at a relative’s home.
The victim tried escaping but was held down by one of the suspects while the other dealt several blows with a chopper, before taking a chain and bracelet.
They are said to have escaped on foot.
However, one suspect was arrested and due to appear in court on Monday 21st December 2020.
