State Game Licenses are now available for the upcoming Hunting Season, which runs from October 1st 2022 to February 28th 2023.
According to the Agriculture Ministry, the Licenses are available from today, September 19th, at the Forestry Division offices in St. James, Rio Claro, San Fernando, Sangre Grande, Tunapuna and Chaguanas in Trinidad, and at Roxborough and Scarborough in Tobago.
State Game Licenses are $100 each, with a limit of three licenses per hunter.
A State Game License is a ‘permit’ to hunt a particular species or group of animals listed under of the Second Schedule of the Conservation of Wildlife Act.
The License is not transferable and must be produced upon demand by a Game Warden, Forest Officer and Constables.
