Special Reserve Constable arrested for disorderly behaviour


    A Special Reserve Police Constable was arrested during a DUI exercise in St. Joseph last night.

    The officer, who is attached to the St. Clair Police Station, reportedly started shouting at the officers and inciting drivers to ignore the officers’ instructions as well.

    According to the TTPS, he was cautioned but violently pulled away when an officer at the
    scene attempted to arrest him.

    He was eventually held for disorderly behaviour, obstructing a police officer and resisting

    At the time the man was wearing a a black jersey marked ‘Police’ with a Police Service logo on the front, however it was only after being taken to the Tunapuna Police Station that he was identified as a Special Reserve Police Constable.
