A special advisor for the vice president of the United States was among officials that visited T&T this week to advance talks on addressing climate change.
The regards the partnership between the US and the Caribbean, called PACC2030, which seeks to advance climate adaptation and resilience and clean energy cooperation.
US Ambassador to T&T Candace Bond said the discussions were very fruitful, as the US is committed to working with T&T as a regional leader in energy security and to advance shared carbon emissions reduction goals.
