The Saint Lucia Labour Party will form the next Government of Saint Lucia, after a landslide victory at the polls.
The party won 13 seats in yesterday’s General Election, while the incumbent United Workers Party managed only two seats.
Two independent candidates also won seats.
According to Loop News St Lucia, Prime Minister-Elect Philip Pierre said he intends to be a government of inclusion and is hoping to take the country past the division and conflict that exists.
He added that the SLP administration’s first priority would be health and the youth economy.
