Two Siparia men appeared before a Siparia Magistrate yesterday, charged for wounding with intent.
The charges stem from an incident which occurred on Sunday January 13th, when a 39 year old victim was shot at by two men while standing along the roadway, outside his home.
The assailants then proceeded to escape on foot, while the victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Arrested are 33 year old Keron Mota and 29 year old Cruze Hills, who were both charged one week after the incident (Sunday January 20th).
The two were also jointly charged with common assault, possession of a firearm and ammunition, along with possession of a firearm and ammunition to endanger life.
The matter has been adjourned to Monday February 18th, 2019.
