If you have used clothing that can be given a second chance, SEWA TT is asking you to donate it to its Divali Recycle Drive.
The NGO is collaborating with the National Council of Indian Culture for a collection drive on Saturday 2nd November 2019 between 10am and 5pm at the Divali Nagar.
The public is invited to donate clothing such as formal and ethnic wear, shoes, belts, bags, hats, ties and scarves, while a special appeal is being made for baby and children clothing.
All clothes should be washed before being dropped off.
SEWA TT is asking that persons do not bring undergarments, electronics, appliances, jewellery, wares or furniture.
Then on Saturday 16th November 2019, between 10am and 5pm at the same venue, persons can browse the collected items and take what they can use completely free of charge.
SEWA TT is also asking persons to volunteer their time to help with sorting and distribution.
Those interested can message them on Facebook, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact 350-7968, 796-0942 or 394-7844.
