Several persons have been charged with traffic offences in Sangre Grande and Port of Spain.
Between 10pm on April 3rd and 2am on April 4th 2021, 67 sobriety tests were conducted in Sangre Grande.
Three persons were found driving while intoxicated and two refused to provide a breath sample – of those two, one was also driving without a permit.
Three persons were also charged in Port of Spain for the same offences and three more were charged on Ariapita Avenue for driving under the influence.
A fourth person, a 35-year-old man from Aranguez, was arrested after driving recklessly and taken to the Aranguez Traffic Branch where he refused to give a breath sample.
He was charged for the offence.
