Senior police officers granted $100,000 bail each in sexual misconduct case


    Two senior police officers who were charged with sexual misconduct were granted $100,000 bail each when they appeared in court yesterday.

    Superintendent Rohan Pardasie of Pt Fortin was charged with indecent assault stemming from an incident in 2014 when he was attached to the Chaguanas Police Station.

    Pardasie who has 38 years service in the police service was only recently assigned to the Southern Division.

    His matter was adjourned to November 5th.

    Meanwhile Senior Superintendent Samuel Seepersad of the Central Division was charged with engaging in inappropriate physical conduct at the Chaguanas Police Station between March and June this year.

    He is set to reappear in court on August 14th.
