Sea Lots residents upset after reported police shooting in the area


    A group of Sea Lots residents has confronted police this afternoon, after officers allegedly shot two well-known persons in the area.

    There is a heavy police presence there at this time.

    Unconfirmed reports indicate that one of the persons shot was Akini ‘Dole’ Adams, who was once held in relation to a murder, but subsequently released.

    A video circulating online shows the large group of residents in Sea Lots shouting at the armed officers.

    Another photos making its rounds on social media shows the west bound lane of the highway at Sea Lots partially blocked by a steel pole and tyres.

    Police Commissioner Gary Griffith has joined his fellow officers as the residents continue to confront them verbally.
