School’s security guard charged with break-in at the compound


    A 32-year-old security officer attached to a primary school in Chaguanas was arrested for breaking into the building.

    The school’s principal says on October 21st, she locked all doors and windows of the compound and left.

    The following day, she found that the padlock on the gate leading to the school’s library had been pried opened.

    Missing were: a super power mini sound system and an LG speaker, with a combined value of $4,000.

    The subsequent police investigation resulted in the arrest of the school’s security officer.
