Scarborough Market re-opened after upgrade


    The Market in Scarborough is once again open after an upgrade.

    The scope of works included refurbishment of the main building, the installation of new cold storage components, and construction of a refuse collection system.

    According to the THA, it also has the necessary infrastructure to ensure sellers are compliant with International Food Safety Regulations.

    The project cost an estimated $36 million, with the facility re-commissioned on November 30th.
