Retaining wall in Mount St George Tobago to deal with land slippage

Plans are in motion to build a retaining wall along Windward Main Road, Mount St George in Tobago.

The Tobago House Assembly’s (THA) Division of Infrastructure says the project, which starts next Monday, aims to address land slippage along the roadway, in the vicinity of Georgia Boys.

It says excavation and concrete pouring activities are part of the scope of works and may lead to some traffic restrictions.

As such, the Division is advising the public to either follow instructions from officers on site or use alternative routes via Caledonia Road or Castara Road.
