Repatriated persons among 26 new COVID-19 cases


    26 more persons have tested positive for COVID-19, however there have been no additional deaths.

    According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, three of the new cases are recently repatriated persons.

    Eight persons have also been discharged from public health facilities and there are 32 recovered community cases.

    This leaves 650 active cases of the virus.

    These active cases include 40 patients in hospital, 26 in step-down facilities, 381 in home self isolation and 177 persons in the care of the prison system.

    Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 6,808 cases of COVID-19, including 122 deaths.
