Rambharat: Call the zoo if there’s a snake in your house

Citizens who find snakes in their homes should call the zoo, according to the Agriculture Minister.

Mr Clarence Rambharat, via Facebook, shared the story of a Cascade resident.

The person, this morning, contacted the zoo after discovering a snake perched 40 feet up on a window ledge.

The Minister warns that when the rain is frequent and heavier than normal, the reptiles enter homes seeking warmth.

He says persons can call the zoo’s hotline, 800-4ZOO, for the removal of any wildlife, including snakes.
