PTRC Chairman: Tableland residents without proper water supply for a month

It’s been a month since about 1,000 Tableland homes have been without a proper water supply, according to Princes Town Regional Corporation Chairman Gowrie Roopnarine.

In a media release sent this morning, the Chairman claims water returned at one point, for a day, before halting for a month.

He says the corporation is attempting to truck water to residents but is calling on WASA to restore the supply to the area.

Mr Roopnarine is also urging the Public Utilities Minister to intervene and communicate with WASA to find a solution.
