Principal approves of new temporary location for Arima Hindu School

Final touches are being put on the new temporary site for students of the Arima Hindu School.

In July, the Education Ministry accepted an offer from businessman Raj Jadoo to use an empty portion of Jadoo’s Plaza in Arima.

Speaking during a site visit today, the school’s principal says the fully air-conditioned building is “quite ideal” for his 210 students.

The move comes after the original school on Temple Street was abandoned due to concerns of crime.
