The National Security Ministry has issued a reminder to persons, particularly political parties, regarding restrictions for public gatherings.
It says it there have been instances in which political party supporters and prospective candidates congregated in public places in groups of more than 25.
The Ministry reiterated that such gatherings are an unsafe practice and a breach of the Public Health Regulations.
It also reminds that breaches of the regulations carry sanctions.
As such, it is reminding persons to abide by the COVID-19 Regulations which are in place to ensure public health safety.
