Policeman granted $250K bail over missing TTPS gun and ammo


    A police Sergeant has been granted $250,000 bail after being charged in relation to a missing TTPS firearm and ammunition.

    Acting Sergeant Hector Quashie was granted bail by a Justice of the Peace yesterday.

    He is charged with two counts of misbehaviour in public office by willfully neglecting or failing to secure both the gun and ammo.

    Quashie is expected to appear in court virtually on February 10th 2022.

    The gun and ammo were reported as being stolen from the San Juan Police Sub-Station on Boxing Day last year.
