The TTPS says a number of guns being handled by officers in a recent video were props for a music video and not real weapons.

As such, it says that reports of police seizing a cache of firearms last night was incorrect.

According to reports, around 9:35pm yesterday, a party of officers responded to reports of an armed group of men at the end of Sahadeen Trace, Vega de Oropouche.

There were also reports of loud explosions.

The officers stopped a white Nissan Navara with a group of men, one of whom stated that they were shooting a music video.

A search of the vehicle revealed camera equipment, several plastic objects resembling different types of firearms and a silver colored air pistol with a black grip.

The man admitted that he did not have a permit for the pistol, which was seized pending further enquiries.
