Police are denying that a man who was held in relation to the Westmoorings drug bust is the relative of a high ranking official.
In a media release, it is seeking to clarify what it calls “misinformation being circulated on social media.”
On December 4th, police arrested five persons after seizing drugs, firearms and ammunition at an apartment in Regent Gardens.
However, police say the fifth person was released after there was no evidence in support of charges being laid.
It reiterates that the individual is not related to any high ranking official.
