“Cavalier, irresponsible and selfish” – these are the words used by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley to describe the attitudes of some citizens in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There have been reports of events being held and persons not wearing masks despite advice from health officials for these and other precautions.
Today, during the sod turning for the Health Ministry’s new headquarters in Belmont, Dr Rowley took such actions to task, and urged persons not to play ‘Russian roulette’ with the virus.
On the matter of the new building, Dr Rowley explained that it will finally allow the Ministry its own space.
