PM defends government’s priorities at opening of Roxborough Hospital


    As he officially opened the Roxborough Hospital, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley defended government, saying its priorities are in order.

    He was responding to persons who he claims have made themselves the guardians of procurement in T&T.

    He says there is a future for the country after the COVID-19 pandemic and says the state will proceed with projects with that in mind.

    Dr Rowley says the island is receiving a hospital and in the midst of the pandemic and believes it will save lives.

    Ground was broken for the Roxborough facility in July 2019 and it was built in roughly 18 months.
