PM completes isolation after second bout of COVID

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has completed isolation and can return to work without restriction after his second bout of COVID-19.

On July 29th, 2022, the Office of the PM confirmed his diagnosis and stated that he was experiencing mild symptoms.

In a media release, OPM notes that, as a result of his isolation, Dr Rowley cancelled all of his engagements including his attendance at the Local Government forum on Tuesday.

Now that he can resume work without restriction, the PM is expected to deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union’s 53rd General Assembly in Tobago on Monday.

Dr Rowley’s first COVID diagnosis came in April 2021.
