Jesus Christ’s teachings of love and hope should resonate with more potency this Christmas, according to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.
In his Christmas message to the nation, he highlighted just how different this year’s celebrations are, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He believes though, that the current situation allows an opportunity for citizens to extend hands to each other.
Dr Rowley assures that government is doing its part by continuing socio-economic measures.
He is urging persons to “hold to the tradition of giving, of charity to the less-fortunate. Share a meal, buy some groceries, extend a helping hand, or a kind word of encouragement to all you meet.”
