A meeting between the Prime Minister and a former House Speaker on the issue of T&T nationals stranded in conflict zones has taken place.
According to a statement by the Office of the Prime Minister last evening, Dr Keith Rowley met with Nizam Mohammed, as well as with Kwasi Atiba and Patrick Edwards at Whitehall.
The OPM says this group has been in ongoing discussions with the Muslim community as it relates to this matter.
The meeting was also attended by the members of the National Security Council subcommittee.
This included National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds, Attorney General Reginald Armour SC, Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Amery Browne and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young.
