Persons are being urged to do their own in-depth research into COVID-19 and the vaccines being offered for it.

The advice comes from Dr Roxanne Mitchell, General Manager of Primary Care Services at the Tobago Regional Health Authority.

During a media conference held today by the THA’s Division of Wellness, Dr Mitchell acknowledged concerns and reservations being held by a number of persons.

She believes however that information will help inform decisions.

According to Dr Mitchell, Tobago has so far received 2,500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and to date, has administered over 1,500 shots to the general population.
