Persons released from home isolation after COVID-19 recovery


    T&T has recorded its first set of recovered community cases, that is, persons who recovered from COVID-19 in home-isolation.

    According to the Health Ministry, 655 persons have met the discharge criteria and have been released from self-isolation.

    Four persons have also been discharged from public health facilities.

    Also, 9 additional persons have tested positive for COVID -19, bringing the total number of active cases to 1,809.

    1,590 patients are currently home isolated, while 79 persons are hospitalized.

    131 also remain in step down facilities.

    The number of deaths remains at 58, with no new fatalities reported this morning.

    Since the start of the pandemic, T&T has confirmed 3,336 cases of COVID-19.
