A 35-year-old Penal labourer has been charged with burglary.
Around 2:30am on August 10th, a Penal woman was awoken by a noise at her bedroom door.
Armed with a knife, the suspect stormed in, attacked her and threatened her life.
The woman defended herself, leading to a struggle during which time the man fell to the floor.
He escaped by jumping through a window.
The suspect was arrested and charged yesterday after extensive enquiries.
