An investigation has been started into the police-involved shooting of a man in Moruga on August 29th 2020.
The probe will be undertaken by the Police Complaints Authority which is assuring that due process will be followed.
It says it will not express any views prior to any determination by a court.
The probe looks into the shooting of Venrick Hudlin by a policeman who was allegedly defending himself.
A newspaper report claims CCTV footage of the incident was captured by the family.
