A 39-year-old Police Constable has been charged after allegedly attempting to sell a car that wasn’t his.
The TTPS says a man claimed to have paid $30,000 in cash for a Mazda 3 vehicle, but later discovered that the seller did not own it and was not authorized to sell it.
The matter was reported with the constable subsequently charged with Obtaining $30,000 by False Pretences.
He was due to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate today.
