PBR partially opened due to Wrightson Road works; WASA says its on track for noon completion


    The west bound lane of Priority Bus Route, between Mount Hope and Abattoir Road, Port of Spain, has been opened to light motor vehicles until further notice due to WASA works on Wrightson Road.

    This is according to the Works Ministry which says it is advisable to use the Eastern Main Road and South Quay to your final destination in Port of Spain.

    Meanwhile, WASA’s work is said to be on track for a 12pm completion.

    Yesterday, repairs began on a ruptured line in the vicinity of Hyatt Regency Hotel and were delayed into today due to the nature of the job.

    The pipeline work was finished around 10am today and was followed by the road restoration which has been given a 12pm completion deadline.

    Water supply is being affected due in Port-of-Spain, Morvant, Westmoorings, Cocorite, St. James, Woodbrook, Cascade, Belmont, Laventille, Gonzales, East Dry River.
